As Wolverine # 522, James grew up in Massachusetts restoring antique and muscle cars with family and friends learning to appreciate a wide variety of makes and models.  He also grew up camping throughout the US and Canada.  After being in Michigan for a number of years talking with co-workers and friends who wheeled James became interested in getting a truck to explore and camp with.  He found an already 6” lifted 1985 army C.U.C.V. on Facebook Marketplace and made that a Christmas gift to himself.

The truck has gone on many weekend camping trips to southeast Michigan campgrounds, trips to Holly Oaks, a Winter Wanderlust snow wheeling trip in West Branch, and first event with Wolverine 4x4 at Rocks and Valleys.
