Eric & Kristen P. Wolverine 386A
The first question is why Wolverine 386A? In our club immediate family members may either elect to have their own number or to add a letter to their parents. For Eric (offspring of Paul & JoAnn) the choice was easy as he grew up with the club. Eric's first Jeep was a 1988 Cherokee (XJ) with the 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission. Soon it would be lifted and have bigger tires. Since becoming a member in 1999 life has changed quite a bit for him. As they say first comes love (Kristen) and then the baby carriage (Ava and Knowlton). Eric attended numerous Smoky Mountain Treks as he was growing up but still too young to drive. He finally got his chance and showed everyone that he was paying attention as he not only kept up with his Cherokee but actually pulled some of us old timers out as well.
Eric's latest Jeep is a 2001 Cherokee with a 2-inch lift with a rear locker to help keep the 32-inch mud terrains going forward. After his Dad won a winch Eric was able to secure a slightly used one for the front of his along with a custom pre-runner style bumper. Up on top he has added a trail basket and tire carrier as with 3 passengers plus all the gear there was only so much room.
Eric & Kristen attended WOW 2002 in Ouray and have since been to Wind Rock in Tennessee, Royal Blue in Tennessee. Jelico Mtn in Tennessee, Rush Creek in Kentucky (NEED OTHERS). They have also been to Drummond Island, Grayling ANG, Rocks & Valleys, Bundy Hills, The Mounds, Sno*Blind (West Branch), Silver Lake and to the former Great Lakes property.
Future plans call for a 6-inch lift and 35's as he prepares for to have a 3rd generation Wolverine Four Wheeler in the next couple of years,
