Old Fall River Road
The road will give you spectacular view of Rocky Mountain National Park and will take you to the Alpine Visitor’s center at over 12,000 feet. It’s a one-way dirt road for licensed vehicles (no ATV’s or UTV’s allowed). Most people like to cruise and stop along the way to see the waterfalls, bighorn sheep, moose, deer and elk.
This is an easy gravel road about 9 miles in length and will take about 1-2 hours. See the Fun Treks book for Trail #19 on Page 60
