Jeff P. Member Profile
Jeff's Wolverine number is 447 which dates back to the mid-late 1970s. Jeff bought his 1976 CJ5 brand new from the dealership. Back then the passenger and rear seats were optional along with the top. Jeff has held every position in the club over the past couple of decades.
Through the years the CJ5 has been undergone some changes like a fiberglass body and a performance built V-8. It currently has a 2" lift and rides on 33" tires. The full roll cage is tied to the frame to protect him from whatever happens next. He is currently replacing the 1-piece front end with fiberglass fenders and a hood with a scoop on it.
Jeff with his entire family grew up with the club. The yearly trip to Traverse City was not complete without the stop for Ranch Rudolph along the trail. Jeff and Sharron hosted the club there for almost 20 years. Years ago Jeff did obstacle racing and sand drags with the club and was active in the "Race Team" as well.
Jeff was honored with the Wolverine Four Wheeler of the Year in 1987. His wife Sharron was honored 30 years later in 2017 posthumously. When we reflect on what it means to be a Wolverine Four Wheel we look to Jeff and Sharron as examples as they demonstrated it for more than 30 years now.
