Mark L. Wolverine #469
Mark After moving to Michigan for work he joined the club in 1997. Mark's passion for motorized vehicles is not limited to the four wheel drive variety. Mark at one time had a bus and a International over the road semi truck as part of his "collection" His garage contains his original Land Cruiser which was one of his first 4wd vehicles. His passion for diesel vehicles be it large or small like the diesel Chevette he owns is evident. He also has a GMC crew cab dually with a 8-foot bed which is also a diesel. Did we mention a Dodge pickup with a diesel too? He also has a Jeep Rubicon as well which has been out to Ouray. Almost forgot about his 1995 Jeep YJ!!
Mark has recently taken a new position with a company in Washington state and has the distinction of having the longest drive to any meeting. Airplanes have been one of his newer interests and he has become a licensed pilot. In his not so spare time Mark created a wiper replacement for both the Jeep CJ and YJ that when turned off the wiper no longer blocks your vision. Pretty cool!! The WipeBoy products are available through a variety of retailers and also on his web site http://riptech.net/.
Mark has attended numerous events such as Sno*Blind where he was a sponsor for many years. He has also traveled to Tennessee for some wheeling and been on most of the club's WOW trips including Moab in 2017. We have a standing invitation from Mark to come and wheel the Pacific Northwest with him. Any takers? In 2013 Mark was honored with the Baldy Pohl award for the Outstanding Wolverine Four Wheeler of the year for his contribution not only to our club, Sno*Blind but the entire sport of four wheeling.
