Rick I. Wolverine #471
Rick joined the club in 1997 with his CJ7. After joining we learned that his sense of adventurer was very strong. He attended the Gitche Gumee run a couple times up in Canada north of Lake Superior. On one of those events the day run turned into a night run as the group ended up winching and finally making it out the next day. Rick also tackled the infamous Rubicon Trail in his trusty CJ7. He is the only club member that we know of to do the legendary trail. Over the course of time Rick sold his CJ7 to another club member as it was getting hard to step up into it. He then went for the softer ride of a Jeep TJ. Of course he needed to outfit that one too as he enjoys the challenge of mud and rocks. Somewhere along the way he also had a Jeep Comanche pick up truck that he would take out four-wheeling as well. In 2005 Rick was honored with the Wolverine Four Wheeler of The Year award for his dedication to the sport of four wheeling and showing what it means to be a Wolverine. Rick turned 82 in 2017 and still remains an active member as the spirit of adventure is still strong.
