Steve had wanted to own a Wrangler since he was 14 years old. 25 years later, that want became a reality in March 2019 with the purchase of a Blue 2016 JKU Sahara. After Brian B. (another club member) invited Steve a couple of times to hit some trails with the Wolverines, he was hooked. Actually after his first trip to the Mounds he was hooked. It made him want to learn more. More about Jeeps, mechanical and technical aspects of off-roading, and getting involved. That led to purchasing a project Jeep in August of 2019 (two Jeeps in 5 months). The 2005 TJ X will allow Steve to learn how things work and doing most of the work himself (with the help of club members).
Steve likes the technical trails and seeing what off-road vehicles are capable of. He is looking forward to seeing what his and other vehicles are capable of on the trails in future trips. In the summer of 2019 Steve and his girlfriend took a 1,500 Mile road trip to the U.P. to go white water rafting, see a lot of waterfalls, and check out Michigan in a Jeep. Steve loves doing new, fun, exciting, or different things.
